SON OF A...!

or: my life in a nutshell.

So I'm in Montana for my professional association's annual conference and tonight was the awards banquet. This was my first year of submitting artwork in the professional category - kind of a daunting thing going up against the best in the business. But, long story short, both my pieces ended up winning awards! My last Quarterly cover won a Certificate of Merit in the Editorial category, and my patient positioning piece won a Certificate of Merit in the Instructional Line category. Wow - pretty huge, right? Must have been thrilling, right?

Yeah, I don't know. I was in the bathroom. For real.
