Currently Reading: Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil

by John Berendt

My family came to see me last weekend - it was so much fun! Since we had never been there before, we went to Savannah on Saturday. It's such a beautiful old city. We had a picnic lunch at the beach on Tybee Island, took a carriage ride through downtown Savannah, walked along River Street, ate dinner at a seafood restaurant - lots of fun. Sunday was my parents 29th wedding anniversary and Monday was my 23rd birthday.

Haley stayed for an extra couple of days - thanks, Haley! Oh, and you'll be pleased to know that the church on Wrightsboro on the way to school finally fixed their grammatical error on their sign. To fill in the rest of you - they had a sign that proclaimed "No one is to good or to bad to be saved" (it hurts me just to type it that way). They have finally changed it to the much more grammatically friendly "No one is too good or too bad to be saved." I do wonder who told them it was wrong before...
