I've been searching recently for well-priced plane tickets. I want to go visit my fabulous sister in equally-fabulous London over my spring break in April. I have yet to find tickets that meet my criteria (i.e. are under $600), but I have encountered one thing that brightens my day. As I was looking for tickets on the British Airways website, I discovered a delightful difference in they way they phrase their "wait" messages. On travelocity.com, united.com, etc., they all display some variation of "Please wait while we search for your tickets." Well, on the British Airways site, they ask you to "please wait whilst we search for your tickets." Whilst. I love it. It's so British.
As I'm typing this little post, there is an advertisement playing at the top of my screen encouraging me to "Tip a sleeping cow - Get a FREE PS3." Hmmm, ok... It's not nearly as bad as the one I saw once that was something along the lines of "pop Santa's zit, win a big screen tv." So strange.
