And I'm Back In The Game!

It's been awhile, no?

Top 5 items from recent weeks:
1. I closed on my house! If you've never closed on a house before, it involves signing a lo-ot of papers. Well, I was three papers from the end when the Title company lady asked if I had been signing with my middle initial. I said "no, I never sign with my middle initial." She informed me that to be official, I would have to go back and re-sign all those papers using my middle initial. Awesome.
2. I moved! Yep, got all my stuff moved over to the new place. Htd and I decided we are awesome organizers, because it is simply mind-boggling the amount of stuff we had stored in our 10x10 bedrooms and little tiny living room. But we got it all moved, and I've been spending my spare time putting stuff away.
3. I did yard work! I don't think that one really deserves an exclamation point, but I'm keeping with the theme. I bought a lawn mower and mowed and raked my yard on Sunday afternoon. It was a little surreal - I felt like I was "playing grownups" or something. And now I have a wicked blister on my right thumb.
4. I ran at the gym! I've discovered the wonders of running short distances (4 miles or less) on the treadmills at the gym. I get my own tv and they have CABLE! (A luxury I won't be getting here at home for quite a while. $50 a month? Seriously? No thank you. I'll just stick with my internet.)
5. I met my fundraising goal! Yep, thanks to friends and family and acquaintances and coworkers and a few strangers (and quite a few of you readers out there), I raised $4250 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Wow.
