'Free Petrified Wood'

"No way! That stuff lasts forever!"

Aaaaand that's why Ashley is hilarious.

Road tripping today through desolate parts of Arizona and New Mexico and not-so-desolate Colorado on my way to a much-needed vacation. Ashley and I decided to take our time and check out all the awesome[ly tacky] roadside attractions. Totally worth it. Observe:

I also loved all the great billboards advertising
Moccasins for the whole family
"Made By Indians!"
Quotation marks and everything. You can't make this stuff up.

That's. So. AWESOME! Man I love roadside gimmicks.

Why do you guys do the "cool" roadtrip stuff when I'm not there? And those quotations in no way symbolize someone speaking or that I'm playing it fast and loose with the term 'cool.' They're simply decorative - like on the cake-wrecktastic billboard.

Sigh. Last night a little 9-year-old girl asked me if I would be her sister. I said I'd have to check with you. ;) If you and Ashley keep visiting supa' fly roadside adventures, I might just have to give in. Ha - joking. Love you! Glad you're having fun!

was that teepee "made by indians" too? or was it "made by someone with too much time on their hands?"

or "made by guilty white people."

Don't be silly, Patrick, people don't live in igloos.
