So I started today with a not-so-pleasant surprise. Upon leaving my house to go pick up Kathy so we could be good girls and go work out at the gym I discovered that the front driver's side tire of my car was flat as a pancake. That effectively put the kibosh on me driving to the gym. However, being the dedicated girls we are (we've been to the gym TWICE now), Kathy took up the slack and came to get me. So, after working out at the gym and spending some quality time in the studio drawing and researching, I got to come home and change a tire. Such are the joys of my life. I aired up the flat tire and we will see tomorrow if it will hold the air or if I will need to shell out the kiz-ash for a new one. Until then, I get to tool around flaunting my ghetto spare tire. It really helps make my 95 Ford Taurus just that much cooler.
Another week is underway and I am pleased to report that I actually have things to do this week! If you haven't stumbled across this fact yet, the past two weeks have been a tad slow and I've been going a tad stir crazy for want of something to do. That's two tads, and unless we are talking about oddly named men who are here to cater to my every whim, two tads is too many. So, I now have three, count them 1-2-3, classes this week, with plans for a Wednesday trip to Atlanta for some fun with the girls.
On another note, I am liking the projects we are working on so far this semester. I am currently researching and drawing a Medical Legal panel concerning Retinopathy of Prematurity and an infographic about the use of adult stem cell donation in the treatment of Leukemia. The projects are definitely more in-depth this time around, which I enjoy.
