Destination: Beautiful
Sweet mercy, there is life after Histology exams. I was really beginning to wonder there toward the end. I've spent the past four days studying a months worth of material. Some of you may wonder why I had to study so much material in so short an amount of time. Well, this is hard for me to admit, but I've decided that now is the time to let you all in on a dark side to my being. My name is Kristen and I am a procrastinator. Whew. That was a tough one. This habit has followed me for my entire college career. My process has always been to study all the material the day/night before the test as my short-term memory serves me well the following day for the actual exam. Turns out Med school histology is not a class conducive to procrastination. Thus, I resolve to study future material like, I dunno, when they give it to me or something...
In the spirit of my last post, I will catch you up on the happenings of my last couple of weeks in a series of short, concise items:
I went to the doctor to investigate the hand numbness I reported in my last post.
I found out I have radial neuropathy (irritation/inflammation of the radial nerve) for which the doctor prescribed large daily doses of ibuprofen and a wrist brace.
I broke out in massive hives due to a severe allergy to ibuprofen that I was not previously aware of.
I went to an Atlanta Braves baseball game.
I chatted with my sissy about her fabulous goings-on in jolly ol' England.
I was envious of my sissy's fabulous goings-on in jolly ol' England or, as I refer to it, The Land I Am Not Fortunate Enough To Be In Right Now.
I looked for, but did not find, reasonably priced tickets to TLIANFETBIRN for spring break.
And there you have it.
