Currently Playing: Death Cab for Cutie

Transatlanticism

Have I mentioned that I love the band Jump, Little Children? Well I do. Granted, I've only been listening to their music for about two weeks now, but they are pretty much everything I like about music. I attended my second JLC concert this past Friday night. They actually played here in Augusta (which, I am told, they don't do very often since Augusta isn't exactly a mecca for the 20-something crowd), so six of my friends and I went to hear the concert. We actually hung around and met them after the show - they are extremely friendly down-to-earth kind of people. So that was fun!

Today I am stuck in the studio all day working on projects and studying anatomy. I just finished my pen and ink illustration of an ischial bone and managed not to get too much ink on myself (see, this is the beauty of computer communication because you can't see the giant splotch of ink on my forearm as I type this. Hmmm...just gave myself away, didn't I?). I can finally have a pop now though (ahhh, the freedom of calling it pop - they make fun of me down here when I call it that) because I'm done with the ink illustration. Caffeine makes your hands shake, and that makes for suboptimal line-work illustrations. However, not having caffeine leaves me less than coherent, so I'm not sure if the tradeoff is worth it... Now I get to move on to two surgical instrument illustrations - you all envy me, I know. :)
