Week 20 went like this:
Swim: 2 workouts, 2hr 55min, 6350m
Bike: 3 workouts, 6hr 50min, Saturday ride - 71miles (elevation gain 3724 feet)
Run: 3 workouts, 2hr 48min, 15.5miles
Strength: 2 workouts, 30min
Total: 13hr 3min
(bike totals include spin/trainer time, but not spin/trainer distance)
Challenges:
Friday's swim was the longest swim in the history of ever. It was a combination of a lot of extra meters, a lot of kicking drills (which take forever), a lot of built-in rest intervals (which I finally just quit taking because I wanted it to be over already), and the fact that I'm just a slow swimmer to begin with. Probably fifteen different people hopped in, did their workouts, and left during the time I spent in the pool. Jeez.
Accomplishments:
Ummm...rode a new route on Saturday? It was nice to change up at least part of the course, and riding through the swoopy little hills in Carefree was pretty fun. Not every week can have a milestone...
Surprises:
The clicking noise is back on my bike. That was a FUN surprise. Sigh.
(Man, apparently this is my complain-y week. Sorry about that. Things are going well for the most part!)
